TMW Business Accelerator (TBA) takes great pleasure in organising the inaugural Asia Pacific Business Incubation Summit (APBIS) 2006 at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore on 30 October – 1 November 2006. It is hosted by HOTSpots Singapore and debuting in Global Entrepolis @ Singapore 2006 (GES).

APBIS will be the anchor conference featured in “Distinguished Technopreneurs Forum” (DTF) within GES. The summit is specifically designed to address the issues and challenges faced by the incubator managers, to share different incubation management tools and models, as well as on re-positioning to meet changing demands of the marketplace.

The prestigious 9 th Assembly of Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI) will be jointly held with APBIS. A regional formation, AABI comprises of associations that organise incubation resources and facilities, organisations operating incubation programs and more. It essentially promotes business incubation activities by facilitating information exchanges among Asian incubators, incubator clients and related organizations. Ultimately, this contributes to increased economic activity in East Asia.

Besides setting an ideal platform for information exchanges, the summit further provides a stage under “HOTPitch” for incubatees to sell their ideas; “HOTGlobal” for incubation managers to showcase their facilities; “HOTSource” for MNCs seeking fresh concepts, and not forgetting the potential investors who can look forward to picking up the best deals at the event.

In the past years, AABI conferences were organised within the network in other parts of East Asia. They were driven to great heights and much success was attributed to generous support from distinguished organizations in the hosting countries. First time held in Singapore, APBIS aims to achieve an unparalleled performance.
